My bio
Quantitatively trained Strategically minded Creatively talented

I've always been an all-rounder and a very keen learner. I love to fill my days with a huge variety of activities and my evenings with a plethora of hobbies and interests. Alongside my career in content production I have managed to develop my skills as a private tutor, model designer and improvisational comedian. It is a contrasting mix of things but I find that in a unique way these all compliment each other quite well and give me the balance I seek to lead a healthy and varied life.

Pursuing my love of creative design and hoping to compliment that with my mathematical aptitude I began my career studying Engineering at Cambridge University. Although I found the course very interesting and became a real whiz at maths and physics, I fast realised that the industrial nature of the Engineering sector wouldn't align with my colourful creative ambitions.

Topping my class in Operations Management and winning the 3rd year Major Project Prize for best in show I decided to take the skills I had learnt in process optimisation and apply them to creative settings. While at Uni I performed for a short period with the Cambridge Footlights and after that joined an improvised comedy troupe. This allowed me to pursue my creative ambitions alongside my degree studies.

Towards the end of my degree I was balancing exams alongside competing on Channel 4's LEGO MASTERS competition and acting as Production Manager for Clare College's May Ball. I also joined the University show choir and learnt Ballroom Dancing with the Uni's Dancesport team. My dance partner and I won the title of best beginners couple in the UK that year which remains one of my greatest achievements to date.

After graduating I began working at Heraeus - a large German Conglomerate - as a process improvement specialist. I spent time traveling to their HQ in Germany and at their factory site in Cambridge. I also was sent with the Marketing team to talk about process improvement to customers at a trade fair in San Francisco. I enjoyed the variety of work involved and managed to deploy my optimisation skills to save the company over £350k a year in one factory alone.
Seeking to get back into media production and education I left Heraeus to start working for Up Learn - an EdTech start-up in London. At Up Learn I started out as an animator but was quickly moved across to the Operations Department to better make use of my skills in process optimisation. I have rocketed up the hierarchy since then and am now the most senior Operations leader at the company. I manage a large team of internal and external resources to help deliver on operational improvement projects. I have also been tasked with project managing the delivery of content for our corporate client: Merck for whom I own the creation of content that is being used in over 40 countries.
